Senior Fire Engineer

Safe are currently recruiting a Senior Fire Engineer with 2-3 years experience with local and international experience with the capability to take responsibility for projects. The ideal candidate should: • Have management/financial awareness. • Have the ability to supervise Junior Engineers. • Work in role as a Project Engineer on projects of various sizes. • Be responsible for delivering work to a fee agreed with a Project Manager. • Manage core responsibilities for the task including:- o Task delivery to agreed deadline and fee. o Task profitability. o Task quality. • Prepare client/project proposals. • Present to clients. • Negotiate fee proposals and requesting additional fees where possible. • Plan projects. • Negotiate with Building Control • Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals. • Ensure client satisfaction and design team • Review and comment on deliverables produced by Engineers. • Demonstrates all round technical competence. • Have a good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, risk assessment and Building Control opinions.
